DATA QUALITY OFFICER
I have worked in partnership with DOH at Facility level, District and Provincial level doing different projects namely
PMTCT, PHFS, Partnership for HIV free Survival, MONARCH. And KZN-CQI which is at Provincial level, my responsibilities are to improve the quality of data at facility, District and Sub-district level by looking at the four qualities of data which are Recording, Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness. I assist in the formation of Multi-Disciplinary Teams at facility level. Data collection, capturing and analysis. Responsible for all administrative issues and to provide feedback to facilities about the findings in their data and errors, finding ways in closing gaps found in their data trough quality improvement methodology, assist facilities with the interpretation of their own data as the mirror which reflects the true reflection of the facility, I am responsible for taking minutes and assist with reports writing for our projects. Monitor the utility of QI tools in facilities supported like process flows, dashboard and assist in the formation MDT. I also assist in generating run charts and utility as an alternative to using bar graphs, I assist facilities with the importance of record keeping, minutes writing skills such as scheduling, agenda, attendance register, minutes of previous meeting as reference, also assist facilities with the quality of data.
