Description:
Guided by realist evaluation, this study examines the barriers, needs and opportunities for strengthening the key health system pillars (including multisectoral engagement) for a people-centred community orientation to care; and to co-design Initial Programme Theories (IPTs) for strengthening the key pillars of the health system for a people-centred community orientation.
PhD study are nested within grant:
Usangiphile Buthelezi: A realist approach- to develop an initial programme theory to optimize the role and functions of community health workers in service of a people-centred community health system.
